At the end of September Child Welfare Tshwane celebrated a century of caring for, protecting and empowering vulnerable children in the region with a charity event, hosted at the Menlyn Boutique Hotel. I was honoured to be able to MC the occasion which helped them mark this milestone.

I recently had the opportunity to host two very stylish launch events at the Benmore Centre in Sandton. Benmore has undergone an extensive renovation program over the last couple of years to bring one of the city’s most established retail hubs into the 21st century, with a slick new look.

MC for Pink Drive in October – I have the privilege to MC and co-host the Pink Drive evening at Emperor’s Palace. My co-host will be the beautiful and vivacious Jolene Martin. We have worked together in the past and shot a short TV commercial – we had a lot of fun and the end product looked great under direction of Renee Goedhals. I am very excited to be working with Jolene again. I think we are going to have even more fun hosting this festive event. We might even have a surprise up our sleeves, but you will have to be there to see what we have planned.

It has certainly been a busy month in my role as Master of Ceremonies with some exciting events! One of the highlights was facilitating the final draw of the Pick ‘n Pay Shop Big Win Big promotion. The competition ran over 13 weeks and the final draw for the big bakkie give-away took place on 12 July. I was MC in Gauteng for the day at Pick ‘n Pay Hyper in Centurion.

For a couple of weeks now I have been the MC (Master of Ceremonies) for Pick ‘n Pay Hypermarket. This is to facilitate and promote their national ‘Shop Big. Win Big” promotion which is currently running. You might have seen the ads on TV or if you were in store in one of the hypermarkets.

I recently did some model work for Sorbet Man. This is part of their “Real Men Groom” campaign. The looks were manly and trendy, very metrosexual but relaxed and understated and showing a few options that varied from comfortable jeans and T-shirt wear to more stylish, whilst illustrating the guys with their well-maintained beards.
